Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation - Narrabeen The Regional Championships are the next level of qualification in the pathway to the NSW State Championships. Athletes from our Zone (Northern Met) join athletes from the North East Met Zone. The first two (2) places in each event will automatically qualify for the State Championships. Other non-automatic qualifiers are determined by the eight (8) next best performances across the state from all regions. MULTI-CLASS DIRECT ENTRY TO REGION
Multi Class athletes wanting to compete in Region Championships this season must enter via the Online Registration portal below. This is a direct entry and the entry point for progression to State Championships.
All MC athletes must hold a current classification to be eligible for entry. All classifications will be checked against the AA Masterlist.
Details:
Events: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put & Discus
Athletes will grouped to compete in the following age groups: U9-U10, U11-U12, U13-U14, U15-U17
Event Selection: U9-U10 can choose up to 4 events only; U11-U12 can choose up to 5 events only; U13-17 can choose up to 6 events.
Entries: can be filled out by the Centre or Parent/Guardian
Entries Close: midnight, Sunday, 16 January 2022 (strictly no entries will be taken after this date)
