Registrations for the season 2012/2013 will open in August 2012.

Presentation Day will be held on Sunday 1st April at North Rocks Public School Hall.

All other athletes who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th will progress to the regional carnival on 18/19 February at Narabeen.

Some Safety Tips - please be careful!!

Training will be at the oval each Wednesday 5.30pm to approx 6.30pm until March. Any members welcome to attend.

Report all injuries. The injury register and first aid box is located in the recording room.

Please adhere to our safety isses.

It is a safety concern to have strollers on the centre of the field. Our oval is only small and visibility is limited. Please do not take strollers on to the oval.

Only parents who have signed-on to be officials or working with age groups. are to be on the oval. This includes all Tots parents if you are helping with the group.

No toddlers should be running on the centre of the field.

Do not bring animals to the field.

Check the lanes before you cross to go to another event.

Stay with your group. Athletes, do not leave your group without telling your age manager. If a parent is not present when an age group is dismissed, then those athletes must remain near the recording room.

Always wear a hat, apply sunscreen and bring a water bottle. Drink regularly.

Do not remove bunting until all groups have finished on the track.

FIRST AID - The canteen has a first aid kit and should know the whereabouts of our first aid officers.

Report all injuries

During the season other clubs hold Gala Days. Any interested families are invited to attend. If we receive an invitation they will be posted here. Often 2 or 3 families from NRCLAC will attend these Gala Days. Individuals send in their own entry forms.

NRCLAC meets Saturday mornings between 10th September and March starting at 8.15am and finishing at approx 11.15am. Parents are expected to assist where possible, preferably one week in two. Every coach and official is there on a voluntary basis - we welcome any assistance you can give.

At the end of every season, awards and presentations are made to those athletes who have excelled in all sorts of ways, achieved a milestone or represented their Centre.

Athletes Foot Parramatta will be at the oval on our first competition day. They donate to the club 5% of sales whether you make your purchase at the store or at the oval. Let them know you are from NRCLAC.

Spikes are allowed for athletes in the U9 age group and above. Spikes are not compulsory (they are worn by 10% - 20% of athletes).

New rule: Spikes are allowed in long distance races in the U13 and above age groups (U12 and below - only allowed in races with lanes).
