POLICIES

NATIONAL INTEGRITY FRAMEWORK

Sport should be a safe and fair place for all participants.  Australian Athletics want all cubs to offer a safe place for people to raise concerns about behaviour they have witnessed or experienced in sport as well as find more information if they have an integrity question.

Integrity in sport means that participants, coaches, officials, athletes and supporters can participate in and enjoy sport, confident in the knowledge that they are part of a safe, fair, and inclusive environment.

NRCLAC follow the Australian Athletics Guidelines in line with Sport Integrity Australia (SIA), the federal agency established to prevent and deal with integrity threats in sport.

For more information click HERE.

POLICY DOCUMENTS

North Rocks Carlingford follows the policies of the NSW Athletics Policies.

These policies include guidelines for weather, inclusion, behaviour, privacy and child protection.

Safety

  • Always wear a hat, apply sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.
  • Please treat the running lanes, high jump areas, and long jump runways as if they are a busy road. Look before crossing and cross as quickly as possible.
  • Please supervise younger children so they do the same.
  • Athletes, please don't leave your group without telling your Age Manager.
  • If a parent is not present when an age group is dismissed, then athletes will be at the recording tent.  Please be reminded that 12s and under MUST have a parent or guardian on site at all times.
  • FIRST AID - The canteen has a first aid kit, bandaids, and ice packs.
