North Rocks Carlingford Little Athletics Centre (NRCLAC) is a volunteer-run community athletics club based at Kingsdene Oval, Carlingford.
For many families, Little Athletics is their first experience with organised sport. Some athletes join to make friends, build confidence and enjoy being active. Others are working towards representative competition and higher levels of achievement. Whatever their goals, every athlete is welcome at NRCLAC.
We provide weekly track and field competitions from September to March for athletes aged 4 to 19, creating opportunities for children and teenagers to challenge themselves, achieve personal bests and be part of a supportive sporting community.

our historyNorth Rocks Carlingford Little Athletics Centre was established in 1981, with the club's first competition day held on Saturday 3 October 1981. Approximately 300 athletes took part in that inaugural season, laying the foundations for the thriving community that exists today.
Over the decades, thousands of athletes have worn the NRCLAC colours. Many have progressed to representative, State and National competition, while countless others have developed confidence, resilience, lifelong friendships and a love of sport that extends well beyond their Little Athletics years. While athletics has evolved over the years, the heart of the club has remained unchanged: providing a welcoming environment where young people can participate, improve, belong and be their best. Today, NRCLAC continues to bring together local families through a shared love of athletics, community and volunteering. |

A CLUB BUILT BY FAMILIESNRCLAC is entirely run by volunteers. Every Saturday, parents, carers, Age Managers, officials and committee members work together to deliver competition for hundreds of athletes.
Our club only exists because families are willing to contribute their time, skills and energy to support the next generation of athletes. Whether you're helping at an event, serving at the BBQ, coaching at training or joining the committee, you're helping make NRCLAC the community it is today. |
THE PEOPLE BEHIND EVERY SATURDAYEvery season, dozens of volunteers work behind the scenes to make competition possible.
From Age Managers and officials, to canteen volunteers, coaches, committee members and parents helping at events, every competition day relies on families contributing their time and energy. Many of these volunteers started exactly where you are now: standing on the sidelines, supporting their child and looking for a way to help.
