AGE MANAGERS - CLUB COMPETITION
NRCLAC aspires to offer a high standard of officiating at our weekly competition so we can have confidence in the reliability and validity of our event results. As such, we would like to have qualified officials in charge at every competition event.
If you think you can help NRCLAC by being a dedicated Official at our Club competition, we need your help.
Your contribution will enormously benefit NRCLAC athletes.
There are various levels of qualifications, depending on what level of involvement you wish to have, or the level of information and knowledge you wish to achieve.
The online Community Officials course mentions a practical face-to-face assessment following the online component. This is only necessary if you wish to officiate at Zone and Region competitions and can be done as you undertake an officiating role.
You can attempt as many of the courses as you like. Once you have completed each course, including he practical assessment, you will be able to download the Certificate of Completion.
If you can help us, the first step is to choose a discipline and complete the online learning.

ZONE & REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
NRCLAC competes in the Northern Metropolitan Zone Championships and Region 5 Championships, which are highly competitive, and require quality officiating at all events so that competitors and spectators know the results are trustworthy and fair.
80 Officials are required to run the carnivals. NRCLAC are obligated to contribute 14 of these. NRCLAC has historically lived up to this, but we need to be continually renewing our ranks to guarantee a professional and fair carnival for the benefit of all athletes.
As such, NRCLAC is seeking new volunteers who are prepared to officiate at Zone and Regional Championships. Officiating at Zone or Region is a half-day commitment (you can do more than the half-day if you like). It includes free morning or afternoon tea (and lunch if you do a full day).
Your contribution will enormously benefit NRCLAC as well as the athletes across the Region.
To start this process, the first port of call is to undertake the online Community Officials Course.
